Mitsubishi Fuso said it will offer solar-based auxiliary power systems for its medium-duty commercial trucks. The automaker’s cab-over-engine Canter FE/FG series trucks will be available with solar functions that range from 30-watt systems to help keep batteries charged to 6,400-watt systems capable of fueling liftgates and refrigeration systems, Mitsubishi said.
