Driver behavior contributes to 94% of traffic crashes in the U.S., according to the NHTSA. While that’s a sobering statistic, it also offers hope – we know that we have the power to change our behavior.
Every October, NETS – Network of Employers for Traffic Safety, sponsors a campaign: “Drive Safety Work Week” – this year slated for October 3-7. The 2016 theme is “Drowsy, Distracted or Focused – Your Decisions Drive Your Safety.”

Dr Jörg Löffler New CEO at Fleet Logistics
Dr Jörg Löffler has taken over the position of Chief Executive Officer at TÜV SÜD subsidiary Fleet Logistics Group from August 2016.
He succeeds Rainer Laber, under whose management the company has grown in recent years to become Europe’s largest independent fleet management services provider. Dr Löffler joins Fleet Logistics Group from Munich-based braking system specialists Knorr Bremse AG.

The average new vehicle's "footprint" -- the rectangle formed by its wheelbase and track width -- hit a record 49.9 square feet in the 2015 model year, according to the EPA, up by about 1 square foot, or 2 percent, since the agency been tracking the measure in 2008.
