September 07, 2022 - Work Truck Solutions announced an addition to its Vehicle Acquisition Search Tool (VAST), adding Manheim as a partner. As commercial vehicle inventory shortages continue to restrict franchised dealers’ OEM allotments, enterprising dealers are finding alternative sources to fill their customers’ needs.
In response, Work Truck Solutions continues to add to the vehicle source pool within VAST, and with the addition of Manheim, VAST now has more than 50,000 commercial vehicles available.
“We’re happy to provide another valuable inventory source to dealerships selling commercial vehicles,” says Kathryn Schifferle, CEO of Work Truck Solutions. “Supply chain difficulties continue to put stress on business customers of dealerships as they depend on having vehicles to maintain and grow their businesses. We’re always looking for ways to help them succeed and adding another inventory source to VAST is an example of our focus.”

September 7, 2022 — In response to growing customer demand from enterprise fleets looking to optimize costs, lower carbon emissions and source renewable fuels, Booster®, the leading tech-driven mobile energy delivery company, announces that it is expanding services across the United States with several new market launches.
The company recently launched in three new markets – Portland, Oregon; Philadelphia; and Boston – and will be in a fourth, Phoenix, in October. Booster continues to scale up operations and expand its serviceable range to meet growing demand from large-scale enterprise customers such as Amazon and UPS, which continue to see unprecedented growth.
"We are thrilled to establish a coast-to-coast presence and launch operations in these four new markets," said Frank Mycroft, Booster co-founder and CEO. "Given the shifts in the global energy landscape – rising fuel costs, growing challenges and delays around wide-scale electrification, concerns about supply chain disruption – enterprise customers are increasingly looking for reliable energy delivery who can help reduce these pain points. Energy-as-a-service will become even more critical as we navigate these ongoing challenges."

Speeding can do damage that’s beyond repair. When you drive over the speed limit, even by a little bit, you put yourself and everyone on the road in danger. The result could be a serious injury or deadly crash. Know that speeding is illegal and affects everyone on the road.
More than 11,000 people were killed in speed-related crashes in 2020 – a 17% increase from 2019. While drivers of all ages are represented in speeding-related crashes, data shows about 25% of drivers 18-44 involved in fatal crashes were speeding, and young men are the most likely to be speeding at the time of fatal crashes. In 2020, 35% of male drivers 15-20 and 32% of male drivers 21-24 involved in fatal crashes were speeding.
No matter how advanced your driving skills are, speeding is dangerous.
