Opus IVS™ is excited to unveil IVS Mobile, an advanced mobile diagnostic app designed to deliver OEM-level diagnostics and expert support for automotive technicians at an affordable price point.
IVS Mobile will be on display at the upcoming SEMA Show, booth #33071 in the South Upper Hall, November 5-8, offering attendees an in-depth look at its robust features and transformative impact on automotive diagnostics.
Powerful Diagnostic Capabilities at an Accessible Price
Available at just under $200 by year-end, IVS Mobile features the Supergoose interface, which provides technicians the flexibility to operate the IVS Mobile App on their Android device or they can run OEM Right to Repair software on their Windows PC with the optional in app upgrade to full J2534 capabilities. Chevrolet BrightDrop 400 electric vans are hitting the road in major U.S. markets this year to support Walmart’s InHome delivery service.
The addition of BrightDrop vans to the Walmart last-mile fleet will support growth of the retailer’s InHome delivery service, help reduce carbon emissions, and provide drivers with safe, efficient, and comfortable vehicles.
Walmart InHome associates, who are trained to deliver groceries directly into customers’ homes, participated in a pilot with GM to assess the overall performance of the BrightDrop 400 in live operation scenarios, including city driving and customer deliveries.
Who knew? More than 6 in 10 U.S. drivers rely on prescription eyewear behind the wheel, according to a new AAA survey.
Daylight Saving Time, ending November 3, is the perfect time to remind everyone of the importance of vision correction for safe driving. According to the survey, a significant majority of U.S. adults rely on prescription lenses for purposes beyond reading, with 62% wearing eyeglasses, sunglasses, or contact lenses.
While the vast majority (80%) of drivers who wear prescription lenses report wearing them all the time when driving, 16% only wear them under certain circumstances, and 3% never do so. However, most (94%) of those required to wear corrective lenses on their driver’s license always wear them when driving.
Fleetio announced the expansion of its embedded integration with Ford modem-equipped vehicles and Ford Pro plug-in device technology. The integration, which is Fleetio's first embedded original equipment manufacturer (OEM) integration, now supports a more comprehensive exchange of data with the Fleetio platform, open to all Ford Pro Telematics subscribers.
Building off the original integration, which allowed fleets to automatically sync odometer readings and fault codes, this expanded version also provides access to diagnostic trouble code (DTC) alerts for proactive repairs, vehicle location details for optimized routing and fuel vendor location alerts for enhanced fuel monitoring. These new features allow fleets to take action on the data needed to improve the efficiency of daily maintenance operations with faster access to vehicle data, which is key to keeping vehicles on the road, drivers safe and costs in check.
