New Study Finds Cell Phone Related Crashes Under-Reported

The National Safety Council released an analysis of fatal motor vehicle crashes, “Crashes Involving Cell Phones: Challenges of Collecting and Reporting Reliable Crash Data” this week. The report includes national statistics from 180 fatal crashes from 2009 to 2011, focusing on cases with evidence that pointed toward driver cell phone use.
