PHH Arval Up for American Business Award, Subaru Adds 900 Employees at Plant, GPS Insight Nominated for TechAmerica Award, Donlen and Comdata Offering Emergency Fuel Program

PHH Arval a Finalist in American Business Awards
PHH Arval is a finalist in The 2013 American Business Awards(SM) in the Business-to-Business Marketing Category for its PHH InterActive® for Drivers mobile app, a tool designed to empower and meet the needs of drivers who spend little time in an office. Through PHH InterActive for Drivers mobile, launched a year ago, users can complete work-related tasks without having to make a special trip to the office. Previously, drivers had to access a driver portal from a computer, restricting their mobility. “With today’s more mobile workforce, this app illustrates our commitment to providing end-to-end solutions,” said Dave Zuidema, PHH Arval senior vice president, Customer Experience. Subaru Bringing 900 More Employees to Lafayette Plant
Subaru of America has seen enough success and growth in the US market to expand its Lafayette, Ind., plant and add 900 new workers there. They’ll be joining the 3,600 Subaru employees who currently work there. Subaru has seen six consecutive years of growth in the US, and will be adding the Impreza to the facility starting in 2016. As of now, the plant assembles the Legacy, Outback, and Tribeca. Subaru sold 724,500 vehicles globally for the fiscal year ended March, up 13% from the previous year, with 357,600 of them sold in the US. Learn more.

GPS Insight a Finalist in TechAmerica Foundation Award
GPS Insight has been named a finalist in the software category for the 2013 TechAmerica Foundation American Technology Awards. GPS Insight won the award in 2011 and hopes to win again this year. “To receive a nomination from such a technology focused, non-sponsored advocacy group validates everything we do at GPS Insight to move our product forward as the technology leader in our space, said Rob Donat, Founder & CEO of GPS Insight. The winners will be announced at the Technology and Government gala dinner at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC on June 20, 2013. Learn more.

Donlen and Comdata Provide Emergency Fuel Program
Donlen announced an emergency fuel program with Comdata designed to assist customers who provide life supportive services to people and communities. “Donlen has many customers that provide vital emergency and life-saving services and supplies,” said Kathy Quinn, manager of fleet fuel programs at Donlen. “Having a fuel program partner who can provide critical fuel deliveries can mean the difference between an active fleet and a fleet that is stalled until conditions normalize.” There are two options available with this program. Mobile on-site fueling delivers fuel directly to vehicles in a designated location from a mobile tank truck, and bulk fuel delivery, where a mobile vendor delivers fuel to a mobile or fixed tank.
