The longer a fleet vehicle is out of service because of an accident, the more it’s costing your organization in lost revenue and productivity or in rental fees for a temporary replacement. That’s why keeping your fleet’s average repair cycle time under control should be a constant priority.
Which raises two questions: how long should collision repairs take, and what can a fleet manager do to make them as short as possible? The answer to the first is, every repair is different, but the time it should take is roughly related to the estimated cost. The answer to the second lies in identifying the most common reasons repairs can take longer than they should or could.

VW’s EV production flagship vehicle, the 400-mile-plus range Vizzion will come to market by 2022.
Free of steering wheel and pedals, the Vizzion concept boasts a roomy cabin for four that identifies its owner with a facial scan, then adjust the interior accordingly — seat depth, soundtrack, scents — and responds to voice commands and gesture controls for instructions.
“We are betting the farm on electric,” Greg Lucia, director of experiential marketing at VW America, told The Detroit News last year. “We are making things differently now. Electric suits our product. And e-GRC is a great way to showcase it.”

The agreement provides Spartan exclusive access to Motiv’s EPIC™ all electric chassis in manufacturing Class 4 – Class 6 walk-in vans for a minimum of three years. With this joint commitment, the companies can produce zero-emission, economical and reliable all-electric walk-in vans for fleets and expect to build hundreds of such vehicles over the course of the agreement.
