CleanFUEL USA, a provider of alternative fuel infrastructure and propane engine systems, is debuting a liquid propane injection system for the General Motors 6.0 liter engine. It's designed to convert light-duty fleets, such as passenger vans, shuttle buses, walk-in vans and utility and service vehicles, to propane-powered vehicles.
Valvoline and technology firm tiwi have partnered to bring a fuel efficiency program to over-the-road fleets guaranteeing at least a 4% efficiency increase. The plan uses engine oil, gear lubricants, and a telematics device that monitors truck performance. A guarantee is being offered on meeting fuel efficiency to combat "outlandish claims" from competitors.

The Netherlands is transitioning to a road tax per kilometer driven in 2012 ratcheting up through 2018. GPS data will determine the tax to be paid with higher rates charged during rush hours and on congested roads. The tax is expected to reduce driving 15% and rush hour driving 50%.
