The strong sales performance in November suggests that demand remains robust, but ongoing supply limitations may affect pricing and availability heading into the new year.
According to Cox Automotive’s vAuto Live Market View data analysis, the used-vehicle inventory at the start of December remained stable compared to November. Still, it showed a 6% decrease compared to the same period in 2023.
Affordability remains a significant concern for consumers. As lower-priced used vehicles are in limited supply, the average price of the top five sellers in November was $23,882, approximately 7% below the average listing price of used vehicles.
Bidirectional charging isn't just for consumers. Fleet owners are poised to use bidirectional charging in 2025 and beyond.
Using your electric vehicle to power your home is an exciting concept, but it's not just for consumers. For a lot of us, driving about in a new car that has to make frequent stops at the garage makes us yearn for one of the older models that we used to put through their paces and would rarely fail us.
With the fast progression of technology across all segments, smarter features, and more electronic aids, it may not come as a surprise that some 10-year-old cars have stellar reliability records compared to new cars.
Placing a premium on engineering excellence instead of piling on the latest trends, manufacturers arguably had a larger focus on providing vehicles that were made to last with robust designs and fewer compromises on materials.
Just a year after it hit the 1 million electric mile mark, Schneider National and its unmistakable orange semi trucks have thrown down the gauntlet – adding more than 5 million miles to its BEV tally and crossing the 6 million electric mile mark!
The company says this latest all-electric milestone means Schneider has cut more than 20 million pounds of harmful carbon emissions. A total it says is equivalent to removing more than 2,100 gas-powered passenger cars from the road.
Schneider operates one of the largest fleets of Freightliner eCascadia electric semi trucks in the country, with fully 92 of the BEVs deployed (so far).
