U.S. Drivers More Dangerous than Europeans
A recent study from the University of Michigan’s Transportation Research Institute compared the number of deaths by car accidents to other countries around the word and U.S. drivers didn’t do as well.
Worldwide, there is an average of 18 auto fatalities per 100,000 people. The U.S. is actually better than the average at just 14 deaths, but compared to other industrialized nations, the number’s not all that impressive.
Manheim Launches New Global Remarketing Solutions Software Business
Global Remarketing Management System (Global RMS), a new enterprise software business has been created by Manheim, strengthening its leadership team and role in the global automotive marketplace.
Nick Peluso has been named as Global RMS president with Tim McKinley joining Manheim as senior vice president of sales. Both roles will become effective on April 1. Additionally, Rich Coutu has been named vice president of commercial sales, effective March 1.
