Diesel Price Per Gallon Trend – 2013 to 2014
- On highway diesel fuel prices nearly reached $4 per gallon in February, compared to about $3.35 per gallon for gasoline
- In early March, diesel came in at $4.02 per gallon, 11 cents lower than last year at that time
- Diesel engine passenger cars continue to grow in sale and new vehicle introductions in the US, and car shoppers become more confident in reliability and fuel efficiency
