John Moore Joins AmeriFleet as Eastern Region VP

John Moore has been appointed Eastern Region Vice President at AmeriFleet. In this role, John is responsible for managing the company’s eastern region field offices as well as AmeriFleet Canada.

John comes to AmeriFleet with over 20 years of leadership and management experience in the commercial fleet industry. Previously, John was with Wheels Inc., where he held a number of senior positions including senior director of Wheels Canada and director of Wheels' mid-market fleet business.

Mike Zalas Named VP Sales, National Accounts at LeasePlan USA

LeasePlan USA announces a new addition to the LeasePlan client acquisition team, Mike Zalas. Mike will serve as Vice President Sales, National Accounts, where he will be responsible for delivering high-touch service throughout the North Central region.

Mike has more than 12 years of professional sales experience including 10 years in the fleet management industry. Recently, Mike served as a Director of Business Development where he created customized fleet management solutions tailored to his clients' specific fleet needs.

Bill Burns Elected Green Truck Association President

Bill Burns, Fleet Operations Manager for the City of Columbus, Ohio, will serve as the 2014-2015 Green Truck Association President.

“I look forward to leading the GTA and helping to implement drive and duty cycle analysis as a key player in our collective efficiency efforts,” said Burns. “As a fleet manager myself, I see the importance of these tools and information, not just to help in the manufacturing and upfitting of green trucks, but to provide a better roadmap for the trucks that are already on the road.”
