Cape May, New Jersey – [August 31, 2020] – eDrivingSM, a leading global provider of driver risk management solutions, has announced the introduction of shift-based scoring and configurable features in the latest update to its award-winning driver safety app, Mentor by eDrivingSM.
Mentor is a smartphone-based solution that collects and analyzes driver behaviors most predictive of crash risk and helps remediate risky behavior by providing engaging, interactive micro-training modules delivered directly to the driver in the smartphone app. As a result of eDriving’s partnership with industry analytics leader FICO®, driver on-road performance is converted into an individual FICO® Safe Driving Score, which has been validated to predict the likelihood of a driver being involved in a collision.
The addition of shift-based scoring is a significant development for the company’s last mile distribution, delivery, and service clients, where the ability to identify and analyze driver behavior over full shifts, rather than individual trips, is important.
