Ranger Design, a renowned provider of work van equipment, is showcasing prototypes of its latest pick-up truck utility system at NTEA Work Truck Week 2024.
Launching through Ranger Design’s distributor network and completely manufactured in-house by the Ranger Design team, an initial product offering of rack and toolboxes is slated to be available fall 2024.

Ford Motor Company‘s dealers and Ford Fund have jointly invested $2 million in scholarship funding to combat the ongoing shortage of automotive technicians. The initiative aims to support students pursuing careers as automotive technicians.
This initiative, known as the Ford Auto Tech Scholarship, will be rolled out across 10 regions, supporting students in over 20 states and 292 eligible schools.
The automotive industry is grappling with a significant shortage of technicians, with an estimated requirement of over 400,000 techs by 2027. This scholarship aims to create opportunities for well-paying careers as the industry shifts toward electrification and software integration.
Forbes Advisor sifted through NHTSA and U.S. Census Bureau data on the 50 most populous cities in the country to find out which have the worst drivers.
The equation took five metrics into account and weighted them, all based on the number and kinds of fatal accidents per 100,000 residents: The overall number (24%); how many involved drunk drivers (0.08 BAC or above) (19%); how many involved distracted drivers (19%); how many involved speeding (19%); and how many people were killed (19%).
Albuquerque took the award for the highest number of fatal accidents that involve people focused on something other than driving.
