The GHSA is reminding drivers that cell phones are not the only distraction that they need to manage while driving.
As of July 1, New Jersey and Washington, DC banned drivers’ use of hand-held cell phones, joining New York state and various towns and cities around the country with similar bans. Washington, DC also banned the use of pagers, games, other electronic devices, grooming, playing with pets, and reading. Meanwhile, Tennessee just voted to ban pornographic material on video displays inside vehicles.
