NHTSA Postpones Backup Camera Rules
Safety activists have been impeded by the federal government’s postponement of its backup camera mandate. U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood said it will likely be as late as January 2015 before the NHTSA can finalize rules requiring automakers to install the devices.
