As we begin a new year, we often resolve to do things differently. It may be to eat healthier, exercise more, stay in touch with friends, or increase our efforts to help others. My hope for the fleet industry is that we can resolve to look at our responsibility to The Modern Mobile Worker in a slightly different way in 2015.
GPS Insight announced that they have donated $123,400 to charities and not-for-profits in 2014. The Company had a goal to donate $100,000 for the year, and because of the overwhelming response to their recent holiday social media campaign, the goal was exceeded for a yearly total of $123,400.
Rob Donat, Founder & CEO of GPS Insight stated, “The holidays are all about giving back, and GPS Insight is fortunate enough to be in a position to do so. We are proud to have been able to donate to these wonderful charities and want to thank our customers, vendors, partners, and employees for their participation.”
Every customer that participated had a minimum of $500 and up to $2,000 donated to the charity requested. A few of these 75 charities in 2014 included Wounded Warrior Project, Boys and Girls Club, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Teach for America, Susan G. Komen, and ASPCA.
