Hyundai plans to boost its dealer profitability by launching an upgraded certified pre-owned program that includes a 10-year, 100,000 powertrain warranty, special financing, roadside assistance, and 150-point inspection. Eligible vehicles are those up to five model years old with less than 60,000 miles. An appropriate advertising campaign to market the revised CPO program will be announced.

The problems are hurting Toyota's reputation for quality just as it overtook GM in worldwide sales. The automaker may recall Tundras equipped with 5.7L V-8s to replace the engine. No injuries have resulted from the engine failures.
