Verizon has contracted with BAF to convert 501 Ford E-250 vans to run on compressed natural gas (CNG). They're expected to be on the road later this year.

Trucking Fleets Testing Telematics to Improve Fuel Economy and Safety
KLS Engineering is looking for a few good truckers to participate in a study determining the benefits of telematics for increasing safety, reducing harmful emissions, and increasing carrier profitability through less fuel consumption. Fleet owners will have real time access to data and can review on-road fuel economy, idle time, sudden braking events, and driving speed.
