AutoTrader.com's "Heart & Mind" advertising campaign, launched in May of this year, has helped drive record visitors to the auto shopping and information site and delivered more car shoppers to the dealers and private sellers who list their vehicles for sale on AutoTrader.com. To build on that success, AutoTrader.com is launching an extension to the campaign that includes additional broadcast exposure on USA Network, ESPN and ABC.
State Farm Insurance has added the free Android smartphone widget 'On the Move' to its Pocket Agent suite in hopes of curbing texting distractions while driving. Users can compose custom messages to alert others that they are driving and can't respond or are otherwise indisposed.

Parent company Tanfield Group was thinking of divesting from the companies but has committed to supporting growth and a possible IPO after federal grants and a visit from President Obama have produced positive results.
