Hertz is launching a new program to sell used rental cars to dealers online, at wholesale. "Dealer Direct" website will offer database searchable by location, vehicle type, and availability.
California Releasing Emissions Standards at Same Time as Feds
The conflict between the state of California and automakers and dealers may be resolved soon, as the state joins ranks with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Environmental Protection Agency to propose emissions standards for 2017-25 vehicles on the same time frame. The state may be more willing now to compromise on proposed standards.
