Honda Invests $65 Million to go Solar
As part of its environmental stewardship campaign in the US, Honda is investing $65 million into a new renewable energy project, which it says will make solar power accessible to dealers and customers. Honda is partnering with SolarCity for a project that will make solar energy less expensive than utility-supplied power.
Lexus Earns High Consumer Report Rating; Detroit Falls Behind
Lexus earned the highest score in the Consumer Report annual 2013 ranking, faring much better than competitors. No American companies were included in the top 10, but Japanese cars dominated, receiving eight out of the top 10. Cadillac was best out of American car companies, earning 14th place.
