PARS announced that it is working with EastBanc Technologies, a Washington, DC-based software development company, to enhance its order handling and management systems.
Lori Rasmussen, president of PARS, noted that several factors have brought about the need for enhanced automation.
“First and foremost, as we experience continued growth, our ability to set the standard in response time is critical. Second, our clients’ vehicle transport requirements are becoming increasingly complicated, and the resulting logistics demand more sophisticated tools. Finally, we wanted to enhance real-time tracking of individual moves for fleet managers.”

This issue of Fleet Management Weekly has a number of articles dealing with fleet safety solutions. We have enormous respect for the work the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) is doing. They have just released a Comprehensive Guide to Road Safety available for download at no cost by fleets who wish to put in place a road safety program for their operations. Available now on the NETS website, it’s an excellent tool. You can read more about the Guide in The Fleet Spot.
