Fleet industry veteran Keith Allen has joined ARI Fleet UK, Britain’s largest independent fleet management company, as Managing Director. Allen will initially work closely with Acting Managing Director Mark Bryan, who is transitioning back into his role as Vice President of European Integration.
ARI Fleet UK, formerly Fleet Support Group (FSG), manages approximately 55,000 vehicles and drivers and offers a comprehensive menu of fleet products and services. Chippenham-based FSG was founded in 1987 and became a well-established multi-award winning organization. The company was acquired by ARI in December 2011.
Chris Conroy, ARI’s Managing Director of Global Operations stated, “We are delighted to have someone of Keith’s caliber join our organization. His extensive experience in vehicle leasing and fleet management will certainly play a major role in ARI’s continued growth and success globally.” Conroy continued, “With Keith, Mark, and FSG founder and Chairman Geoffrey Bray leading the organization, the future for ARI in the UK is very exciting.”
Allen was previously Managing Director of ALD UK, a position he held for 13 years. He played an instrumental role in the buy-out of BCH Vehicle Management (now ALD UK) and subsequently joined the team as Finance Director in early 1996, marking his entry into the fleet management and leasing industry. As Managing Director of ALD UK, he was responsible for all phases of that organization’s activities. Prior to his time with ALD UK, he held several managerial positions with Ernst & Young.
