Renault Nissan thinks it can double its annual cost saving through the companies’ alliance within four years. The companies have an internal goal of reaching four billion euros ($5.2 billion) in synergies in 2016, and expect that number to increase each year. Renault is not interested in changing the corporate structure of its shareholding with Nissan – Renault owns 43% of Nissan and Nissan holds 15% of Renault.
