Ford Motor Co. is recalling more than 154,000 Fiesta subcompacts to deal with a side air bag problem that affects rear seat passengers if no one is sitting in the front passenger seat. The recall affects Fiestas from the 2011 to 2013 model years. Dealers are able to reprogram the computer that controls the side air bag that affects back seat passengers.
