West Virginia’s state government has brought in a new executive director of its State Fleet Management Office. Kenneth Yoakum, who replaced Clay Chandler after his abrupt resignation, will oversee a 6,500 vehicle fleet. Yoakum formerly worked for Mountaineer Gas, managing the company’s fleets and maintenance at 18 facilities. State lawmakers had established the fleet office in 2010, after a series of audits cited rampant misuse of state vehicles.
