Oliver Stockhecke Named Chief Sales Officer at Fleet Logistics

Fleet Logistics Group, Europe’s largest independent fleet management company, has continued the reorganization of its senior team with the appointment of Oliver Stockhecke as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). His appointment follows that of Steffen Schick as the company’s new CEO and Christophe Martinet as Country Head for France in recent weeks.

Oliver Stockhecke joins Fleet Logistics from BMW Group and, as a member of the senior executive team, will oversee all international sales and key account management activities, as well as supporting the country organizations in their local efforts. As part of his role, he will also be instrumental in developing Fleet Logistics‘ fleet management value proposition and in helping define its new mobility products and services.

Prior to joining Fleet Logistics, Stockhecke worked for more than two decades in various senior management positions across all continents at BMW Group. Following roles in aftersales and in-house consulting, he worked as international business development and key account manager in the corporate sales division.

He was involved in the management of the BMW/MINI international direct and special sales organization; and also ran the due diligence process and, subsequently, the integration of ING Car Lease’s sales activities into leasing company, Alphabet.

Oliver Stockhecke commented: “I am delighted to be joining such a renowned international fleet management provider as Fleet Logistics at this important stage of its development in what is a completely new role.

“We will, of course, continue the focus on the further development of our core fleet management services to the benefit of our customers. But we will also be turning our attention to the development of new and innovative mobility services to supply new customers in new markets – which is very exciting for us,” he said.

Steffen Schick, CEO of Fleet Logistics Group, said: “In welcoming Oliver to our senior team within the business, we are confident that, given his outstanding sales record, he will prove to be a major asset. And I trust that his substantial sales experience and positive spirit will leave a mark on Fleet Logistics Group as an organization, with major contributions to both our top and bottom lines.“
