NAFA’s 2016 Institute & Expo Touts A Lineup Of Powerful And Thoughtful Keynotes

One of the many strengths of NAFA’s annual conference, the Institute & Expo, is the lineup of keynote speakers that bring their ideas, their passion, and life lessons to the stage year after year.

2016 exemplifies this with three individuals who will bring stunning information to this year’s conference.

Dan Ricci, Global Big Data Automotive Industry Leader for IBM Corporation will offer an enlightening presentation on Tuesday, April 19 about big data, where fleet fits into it, and what fleets can get out of it. Dan Ricci’s automotive background spans over 15 years working with major OEMs and suppliers. Ricci specializes in data and analytics solutions across the enterprise and automotive ecosystem. He is responsible for helping IBM Automotive Industry Clients world-wide address information and analytics challenges across the value chain.

Sun Country Highway CEO Kent Rathwell will present an inspirational overview on April 20 of what can be accomplished and how to light the fire to make change happen. By driving disruptive and innovative solutions, the company not only supports, but encourages, economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Hear how Rathwell’s company is leading global change for a sustainable future by integrating home, transportation, workplace, and lifestyle solutions.

It happens every day somewhere in North America. It puts the lives of those who help us in jeopardy…and it is against the law. Disregarding Move-Over laws contributes to the numbers of deaths of police and emergency responders, but that can change with education. Donna Setaro, founder of the Move-Over Awareness Campaign in New Jersey will be a Keynote Presenter on Thursday, April 21.

The 2016 Institute & Expo takes place April 19-22 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. The event program, created by fleet managers for fleet managers, features fleet training, education, and workshops; and an Expo Floor consisting of more than 200 companies showcasing their products and services, including the Expo Floor Green Zone, showcasing the latest products and services touting sustainable practices.

Also in Austin in 2016, NAFA’s International Fleet Academy returns as a pre-conference, one-day event on April 18. This gathering focuses on the unique aspects of the global fleet management sector, and what is required of fleet professionals when their organizations go global. It is a “must” for businesspeople who may be involved with international fleet oversight in the future.
