NAFA Seeks Nominees for 2018 Board of Directors

NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) is seeking four members in good standing for consideration in joining the 2018 Board of Directors.

This is an opportunity for well-qualified individuals with a desire to help shape the future of the fleet and mobility industry.

“NAFA is seeking individuals who are passionate about fleet and mobility, are adept with strategic and critical thinking, and exhibit excellent leadership skills that enable persuasive consensus building,” said NAFA CEO Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “The industry is changing in new and exciting ways, so candidates must exhibit a high degree of industry experience as well as the flexibility to embrace the changes that will reshape the profession in the years to come.”

To be considered for NAFA’s 2018 Board of Directors, prospective candidates must complete the Candidate Consideration Form found at: https://www.nafa.org/2018BoardCandidates.

Candidates must be able to commit to the time required to serve as an active and engaged member of the Board of Directors and have the support of their employer. Excellent communication skills are also a “must.”

Candidates are not permitted to campaign for office. NAFA’s Nominating Committee will review all Candidate Consideration Forms in November*. The Nominating Committee will announce its slate of nominees in December. Nominees not selected by the Committee may choose to run by petition. (Details of this process will be provided in November to those who request it.) The NAFA election will take place in January 2018. Individuals elected to the Board of Directors will assume office in February 2018.

Completed Candidate Consideration Forms are due back to NAFA by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday, October 30, 2017.
Please note: Retired members, honorary members, and students are not eligible.
