NAFA Fleet Management Association’s Distinguished Service Award represents the Association’s highest form of recognition.
The award is bestowed upon those with exemplary professional and personal contributions to the industry, society, and/or community.
Claude Masters, CAFM, the recipient of this award for 2016, has proven to be eminently qualified for this honor. Recently retired from longtime employer Florida Power and Light, Masters’ legacy is evident in NAFA’s convictions and continued efforts in fleet sustainability.
During his term as NAFA President, from 2013 to 2015, Masters steered NAFA toward a more direct relationship with government affairs activities. In addition, Masters is the winner of the 2015 Member of the Year, stepping down from the Immediate Past President position later that year to enjoy his retirement.
Presented at NAFA’s Fleet Excellence Awards Gala on April 19, NAFA Vice Presidents Jeffrey Jeter and Joseph LaRosa presented Masters with this prestigious acclaim. “As one of the principal forces behind NAFA’s Sustainable Fleet Accreditation Program, Claude brought his knowledge and passion for fleet and cleaner, more efficient practices together,” said LaRosa.
Through it all, Masters has been one of NAFA’s most persuasive spokespeople. NAFA once again congratulates Claude Masters in regard to this honor, and thanks him for his service and dedication to fleet professionalism and to the Association.
