To drive Manheim’s efforts to reimagine and revolutionize customer service and position the company for future growth, Doug Keim has been appointed senior vice president of Client Experience.
In this role, he will develop and execute initiatives designed to improve dealer and commercial client satisfaction and profitability. Effective March 1, Keim will report to Janet Barnard, president of Manheim North America.
In response to evolving client needs and marketplace opportunities, Manheim will continue to invest in ways to deliver innovative solutions, greater levels of efficiency and partner with clients for success.
“One of Manheim’s key strategies is to deliver the best customer experience by making it easier to do business with us,” said Barnard. “We’ve made great progress and I’m confident that Doug will accelerate our efforts, ensuring dealers feel connected, empowered and heard.”
In his new position, Keim will leverage his strong background in organizational leadership, global product development, marketing, insights and innovation. He most recently served as Cox Automotive’s vice president of Strategic Growth for the Media Group and was responsible for the management and growth of Trade-In Marketplace and Haystak Digital Marketing.
Before joining Cox Automotive, Keim held numerous executive management and leadership positions with CHEP International, a global supply chain and logistics management company; Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, a global recycling and packaging solutions company; and Georgia-Pacific, a consumer and forest products company.
Keim received his Master of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Messiah College. He also completed several executive education programs, most notably from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the European Centre for Executive Development.
