LINE-X Launches Fleet Upfitting Solution Available Throughout North American Network

Service Offers Major Savings in Price, Time and Control

LINE-X, a global leader in powerful protective coatings and renowned spray-on bedliners, has launched a new service offering complete light- and medium-duty work truck up-fitting with a quick turnaround, discounts of up to 15% and centralized control over jobs being completed at multiple shops all across North America.

“We believe in this new service, LINE-X solutions for fleet services, will revolutionize the custom up-fitting business for Class 1-6 vehicles,” said Henry Chedraoui, LINE-X director of national accounts.  “The beauty of what we have to offer is that we can serve and help three different markets:  fleets, fleet management companies and national upfitting companies.”

LINE-X fleet solutions benefit customers in three distinct ways:

  • Hundreds of shop locations. LINE-X upfitting jobs can be executed at more than 500 franchise locations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Each franchise location excels in upfitting work trucks for the retail and business market.

  • Volume discount pricing. LINE-X’s preferred parts supplier is Keystone Automotive, the largest warehouse leading distributor and marketer of aftermarket automotive equipment and accessories in North America.

  • Centralized Control. For large jobs being completed at multiple locations, LINE-X can offer unified price and time schedule for the entire contract.

“The largest companies in the upfitting business have a limited number of locations, which means a job involving a large number of vehicles can take three to six months to complete,” Chedraoui said.  “But because we can distribute the job over so many locations, and we understand that time is money for fleets, we can fill an entire order in a matter of weeks.”

The ability to unify timing and pricing for all jobs stems directly from the fact that large jobs will be completed exclusively at LINE-X franchise shops, Chedraoui explained.  “When a customer of one of the leading national upfitters wants the large job done in more locations than they control, they have to outsource the job and the customer has to negotiate with, monitor and pay each independent shop,” he said.

Chedraoui said Keystone Automotive, being the largest buyer and distributor of aftermarket accessories, enables LINE-X to offer discounts of up to 15% off prices for similar, high-quality parts compared to the leading nationwide up-fitting companies, Chedraoui added.

The LINE-X network of fleet services offers a full range of up-fitting parts and services for SUVs, pickup trucks and vans, Chedraoui said. In addition to bedliners – which is LINE-X’s core business –  these include shelving, storage systems, racks, trailer hitches, step bars and running boards, interior and exterior lighting systems, tonneau covers and more.

LINE-X fleet service representatives will be on hand at the Work Fleet Forum in Ponte Verda Beach, Florida on November 8-10, 2017. For more information, please visit LINEX.com or call 877-330-1331.
