AFLA Announces Two Speakers for 2015

AFLA is excited to announce the selection of Greg Lindsay and Kim Lear as speakers for the 2015 AFLA Annual Conference to be held September 14-16 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee.

With a theme of “The Future is Now: Transformational Ideas Shaping Our Industry,” the conference will feature innovative presentations on hot topics related to the fleet industry. Register now to secure your spot at the premiere fleet conference of the year!

Greg Lindsay is a senior fellow of the Atlantic Council’s Strategic Foresight Initiative, a visiting scholar at New York University’s Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management, and a contributing writer to Fast Company. He’s also co-author of the international best-seller “Aerotropolis: The Way We’ll Live Next,” and is currently exploring the future of connected transportation as a fellow of the New Cities Foundation.

At the AFLA Conference, Greg Lindsay will use current trends to present four scenarios from the year 2030 that paint a plausible picture of the future of mobility. He will cover the unintended consequences and pitfalls of the autonomous car along with the threats and opportunities these pose to established manufacturers. In this fast-paced provocative talk, Greg Lindsay will discuss how autonomy could possibly reshape the value of real estate and possible government responses to disruptive innovations.

Kim Lear is a speaker, writer, strategist, researcher and true generational expert. As a Millenial member of the multi-generational speaker team at Bridgeworks, she is at the forefront of cutting edge research. Kim Lear is a sought after generational expert that has been featured in national publications such as NPR and the Wall Street Journal. She has also received rave reviews from her keynote presentations to some of the biggest companies in the world.

During AFLA 2015, Kim Lear will identify the obstacles and opportunities for leadership within each generation. She will also help attendees understand the potential impact everyone can make as a leader regardless of age or rung on the corporate ladder. Kim Lear will show that knowing the differences between generations is key to forming stronger professional relationships.
