The GSA, General Services Administration, oversees a fleet of 600,000 vehicles and purchases 60,000 to 65,000 vehicles annually. President Obama has directed the GSA to buy only advanced technology vehicles by 2015. These vehicles include hybrids, electrics, E85 and fuel cell vehicles.
