Merchants Fleet Recognized for Outstanding Work Culture

Merchants Fleet is pleased to announce it recently received two recognitions for its excellent work culture.

The company was named Great Place to Work-Certified™ for its fourth consecutive year, and it was named one of “Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®” for the first time.

“Creating a work environment where employees can lead and make an impact is critical to giving our clients the most innovative experience possible,” said Alicia Hart, VP of Human Resources at Merchants Fleet. “We’re proud to maintain our Great Place to Work Certification and to rank among Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®.”

Great Place to Work® is a global people analytics and consulting firm, and its certification confirms at least 7 out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience at their company. Merchants Fleet exceeded this benchmark with 92% of employees ranking it as a great place to work. The program uses validated employee feedback and rigorous, data-driven methodology to determine certification. This is the fourth year in a row that Merchants has been named Great Place to Work-Certified™.

Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® recognizes companies that excel at employee relations, use innovation to motivate employees, implement creative compensation programs, and more. An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories. Merchants Fleet ranked higher than the regional average in multiple areas, including employee enrichment and retention, compensation and benefits, employee education and development, recruitment, and community initiatives. It was also named one of the nation’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® earlier this year. Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® compete for 13 elite awards and a “Best of the Best Overall” award and will be honored on Monday, Sept. 16, at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel.
