Donlen has made enhancements to its award-winning FleetWeb® platform. FleetWeb has undergone a major architecture implementation, with no downtime making it seamless to customers. This enhancement works in the background to supercharge performance for users. FleetWeb’s overall performance, page load times, and report run times equal – or many times exceed – the world’s most efficiently run websites. Uptime is at 99.9%, reaching world-class performance; average page load time is at 341 ms, or about one third of a second; and average report time is now 400 ms, or two-fifths of a second.
There’s been a new “grid” technology interface added to many areas within FleetWeb, including a new reporting tool which was launched earlier this month. The benefits of this are numerous, including: screens with large and/or complex grids will load up to 135 times faster; screens will support larger data sets than before; and new grids have built-in sort, hide, and move column capabilities.
“We’re very pleased with the performance gains we’ve realized with this architecture,” said Dennis Straight, Donlen SVP and CIO. “However, we’re not stopping here. Despite these world-class numbers, we’re continuing to make infrastructure improvements. We’ll have additional updates early in Q1 of 2014 which will further improve uptime and performance.”
