After seeing five months of declines, wholesale prices increased in June from the previous month while being 3% lower than a year ago. For quarterly prices, the first quarter saw a decline of 0.8% and 2.1% in Q2. Manheim also reported in its study on the first half of 2013 that while Q2 prices were down 3% compared to Q2 2012, the quarter was strong. Values were in better alignment with retail new and used vehicle prices.
