Fleets make up a significant percentage of auto sales and manufacturers recognize the importance of the market. NAFA Fleet Management Association will offer fleet managers the opportunity to have their questions answered directly by representatives of the Detroit 3 (Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors) during a special OEM “Fireside Chat” at NAFA’s 2013 Institute & Expo in Atlantic City this April.
The group discussion, which takes place the morning of Wednesday, April 24, includes John Ruppert of Ford, Jim Sassorossi of Chrysler, and Ed Peper of General Motors. Incoming NAFA President Claude Masters, CAFM, will moderate, largely focusing on questions supplied from a survey of NAFA’s membership in March.
“Questions provided to us by NAFA Members touched on topics such as alternative fuels, meeting future MPG requirements, and safety items,” said NAFA’s Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “Fleet professionals are especially interested in whether or not the OEM’s will offer more small/midsize (under 5750 GVWR) vehicles in the near future and if order-to-deliver times can be reduced.” Learn more
