Wheels, Inc. a leader in the automotive fleet management and services industry won silver and bronze Stevie® Awards in the 19th Annual American Business Awards®.
Wheels’ EcoWheels program was awarded the silver Stevie in the Achievement in Product Innovation category. The program provides strategic consulting services and tools to help fleets achieve their green fleet program goals. Most recently, Wheels released their EcoWheels Electric Vehicle Assessment tools to spur informed discussions and facilitate strategic decisions on fleet electrification and announced an at-home electric partnership with Qmerit.
The fleet management company was also awarded the bronze Stevie in the Most Exemplary Employer category. Wheels was recognized in this category due to their extra commitment to keeping their staff employed and safe during the pandemic. To ensure the safety of their employees, Wheels pivoted to a remote working environment for 90% of the workforce, prior to state mandated shutdowns. For those inside the office, Wheels provided Personal Protective Equipment and expanded the on-site cleaning process. In addition, instead of laying off or furloughing employees, Wheels shifted them to other projects.
For all employees, health benefits were extended. For example, additional sick pay benefits for illnesses related to COVID-19 and additional “crisis care” childcare and elder care benefits were offered beyond their normal program.

The American Business Awards are the USA’s premier sales, business development, contact center and customer service awards. More than 3,800 nominations, a record number, were reviewed in the judging process this year by more than 250 professionals worldwide, whose average scores determined the winners.
