With the work truck industry continuing its recovery cycle and some long-dormant market segments, including construction, showing renewed signs of activity, many companies are in the midst of strategizing future operational plans. To aid in this process, the NTEA works to provide resources and information to help members better anticipate the upcoming industry landscape and get a feel for company expectations regarding hiring, sales levels and business growth.
Nearly 200 Distributor and Manufacturer members responded to a recent NTEA survey inquiring about current business conditions. The Association has conducted this survey periodically over the past few years in order to help members stay informed of how truck equipment companies are faring in the current market environment and to offer insights into overall industry conditions.
These survey results provide a snapshot of the industry as well aggregate details on:
