The National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) reminds consumers and its dealer members of a dealer’s obligations when selling a vehicle that has been damaged as a result of flooding and to look for obvious signs of water damage. “As a result of the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, we can expect thousands of flood damaged vehicles to enter the stream of commerce, which can ultimately end up in consumers’ hands,” said NIADA’s CEO Michael Linn.
