The new Cadillac CTS and the Audi A3 sedan have led a parade of luxury cars making world and US debuts at the 2013 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). Edmunds.com says there’s been a particular anticipation for the 2014 Cadillac CTS. Cadillac revealed a major redesign at the show to better compete with the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The 2014 Audi A3 sedan has been launched at NYIAS and will go on sale in the US in the second quarter of 2014. The vehicle will take aim at the much anticipated Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class sedan. Other luxury 2014 models that have been refreshed and launched and released at the New York auto show included the Acura MDX, Jaguar XJR, and Land Rover Range Rover Sport.
Beyond luxury vehicles, fleets will be interested in seeing two sport utility/crossover models being displayed at NYIAS. The all-new third-generation 2014 Toyota Highlander is making its world debut in New York. The all-new Jeep Cherokee is replacing the outgoing Jeep Liberty and will get 45% better fuel economy.
