NADA Used Car Guide
As is typical for time of year, wholesale prices for units up to eight years old rose in February; but modest 0.8% improvement was well below 3% increase observed for month in previous two years. NADA’s used vehicle price index dropped 1.4% lower than January and 0.9% higher than February 2012.

UC Prices Have Improved a Scant 0.4% Over First Two Months of Year:
Much less than 4.4% and 2.4% increases from same two-month periods in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
Compact Car and Mid-size Van Prices Up 1.8% and 1.7%, Respectively, Over January:
More than double market average, while mid-size car prices rose by slighter 1.1%.
Truck Prices Flat or Up Slightly with large SUV and Mid-size Utility Growth at 0.2%:
Prices for large pickups and compact utilities improved by slightly higher average of 0.7%.
