Merchants Fleet has hired John Korte as Director of Last Mile and Mobility Sales to oversee the company’s last mile business segment which has seen 3x growth year-over-year, with nearly 3 million packages delivered in a Merchants vehicle daily throughout North America.

Korte has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry including over 10 years in fleet management. Most recently, he led the business development efforts at Arity, where he focused on implementing telematics and safety products for fleets in the Delivery on Demand and Sharing Economy spaces. He also spent nearly seven years at Donlen, including 4 years leading the Mobility team. He holds a BA in Economics from Macalester College located in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he also resides with his family.
