ARI Invests in New System Speeding Up and Enhancing Call Center Experience
ARI announced that it has made a significant investment in its five technical call centers in the US and Canada, introducing a system that will speed call time and enhance the overall caller experience. The new system uses cutting-edge interactive voice technology to expedite supplier calls. When a call is first received, a supplier is now asked via voice prompt to provide the last eight digits of the vehicle identification number (VIN) for the vehicle about which they may be calling. The system is capable of recognizing the caller’s voice response and pulls the appropriate vehicle record from ARI’s database, delivering it to an ARI Technician as the call is connected. GECFS and Carfax Offering Real-time Reports on Safety Recalls
GE Capital Fleet Services announced a first-of-its-kind agreement with Carfax to develop real-time reporting for fleet managers detailing safety recalls not yet performed on vehicles within their fleets. Under the agreement, GE will have access to Carfax’s vehicle data to identify vehicles from more than 30 automotive OEMs across customers’ fleets with recalls that have not yet been performed. The data will be turned into a customized web report that provides a complete picture of the open recalls across a specific fleet. Currently, recall notices are distributed directly from manufacturers to vehicle operators, putting the initiative to bring vehicles in for servicing with individual drivers rather than the fleet manager.
