Gasoline prices may not be dramatic right now, but they’re volatile enough for consumers to now consider buying an alternative-fuel vehicle – three quarters of US drivers are, Consumer Reports found out in a new study. The study shows 37% of motorists place fuel economy as top priority, with quality at 17% and safety at 16%.
