Large pickup trucks are icons of a can-do America that works hard, conquers adversity and believes that bigger is better. Now, some pickup buyers are reconsidering the bigger is better part. Early this year Ford began offering Ford F-150 pickups, the best-selling vehicle line in the U.S. for more than 30 years, with V-6 engines instead of the V-8 motors that have dominated the segment for decades.
