Fleetmatics Wins Gold for Best in Biz Awards 2014 “Product Line of the Year”

Fleetmatics was named the Gold winner for “Product Line of the Year” in the Best in Biz Awards 2014. Best in Biz is an annual awards program honoring public and private companies of all sizes from virtually every major industry and region in the U.S. and Canada for their business successes in the current and previous year. More than 550 award nominations were received this year. Gold is the top award given in each category.

Fleetmatics was recognized for its latest platform and three corresponding products launched in April 2014, featuring several highly-differentiated – and in some cases, patented – features. The products are:

  • Fleetmatics REVEAL: A powerful GPS vehicle tracking and business intelligence solution designed to drive savings and improve productivity for virtually any mobile workforce. Comprehensive features include native apps for iPhone and Android, providing visibility into field activity and actionable insight into driver behavior and workforce productivity.
  • Fleetmatics REVEAL+: Extends Fleetmatics REVEAL, providing additional tools to help enterprise customers manage complex organizational structures and produce executive level reporting.
  • Fleetmatics WORK: A mobile field service management solution designed to manage customers, jobs, schedules, invoices and fieldworkers, helping customers to save time and money while improving productivity and customer service.

The Best in Biz Awards winners were determined based on scoring from an independent panel of 53 judges from highly recognized media and analyst firms. The panel included contributors to Computerworld, Crain’s New York Business, Entrepreneur, San Jose Mercury News and more.

“To receive Gold recognition from a broad panel of journalists and analysts, who cover and critique new products on a daily basis, is especially rewarding,” said Fleetmatics’ CTO, Peter Mitchell. “This latest version of our platform has enabled us to further solidify our fleet management technology market leadership position, while arming our customers with a truly robust software platform that enables them to work smarter, which helps them outpace competitors and reduce operating costs.”

Fleetmatics also won silver in the “Fastest-Growing Company of the Year (Medium)” category, recognizing companies with 100-999 employees demonstrating significant growth percentages in both revenue and staff. Additionally, the company won Bronze in the “Enterprise Service of the Year” category, honoring services in the enterprise and consumer spaces that demonstrated innovations in terms of features, tools, patents, inventions and first-to-market developments.
