Used vehicles are stacking up on dealer lots due to the credit crunch and industry woes. Wholesale prices fell to a 14-year average low of $8,628, and dealers had a 66-day supply of used vehicles at the end of October (up from a 43-day supply at the end of October 2007). Some dealers, though, are stocking up because they see the low prices as a great opportunity.
